uWink, the restaurant chain by Nolan Bushnell, chooses its second restaurant location.
uWink, a restaurant chain started by Atari and Chuck E’ Cheese founder Nolan Bushenell that focuses on interactive touch screens for ordering and entertainment, signed a letter of intent to open a new location at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, California. The 6,500 square foot space is scheduled to open by early 2008. Hollywood & Highland Center attracts over 18 million visitors per year and is renown for its shopping and fine dining district.
Bushnell commented on his excitement, “We loved this location from the moment we saw it. Hollywood & Highland is the epicenter of Hollywood and the entertainment industry, which fits perfectly with uWink’s mission and demographic.”
“We are proud to add this rising-star restaurant to our lineup. uWink will provide our clientele with great food, refreshing drinks and Hollywood-caliber entertainment,” added Terry Migliaccio, Vice President of Leasing at the Hollywood & Highland Center.
