Nintendo Announced a New “Fresh” Blue Switch Lite System
While Nintendo has yet to acknowledge the myriad of rumors about the supposed “Switch Pro,” (or whatever it will be called) it did announce a new Nintendo Switch Lite system today. It’s supposed to be blue, but many have debated whether it’s actually blue or purple. You can be the judge of that. Either way, it resembles the color of the original GameCube system, which is a blast from the past for a lot of us. The system will be available on May 21, 2021 in North America for $199.99, coinciding with the release of Miitopia.

Nintendo Will Host Another Indie World Showcase Tomorrow
Tomorrow, April 14 at 12 p.m. ET, Nintendo will host the next Indie World Showcase. It will be a “roughly” 20-minute presentation focused on “fresh and new indie games” planned to launch for Nintendo Switch. With its being an Indie Showcase, you shouldn’t expect major first-party announcements, though it will be chock-full of games made by smaller developers. Many are hoping for an update on Hollow Knight: Silksong, which has been in development for the past few years, but it’s unknown if it will make an appearance — it usually doesn’t.
