There are a lot more video game news stories to take a look at today beyond Epic Games’ wild MetaHuman Creator, so let’s jump in. Today, Blizzard released the BlizzConline (BlizzCon Online) schedule, Ubisoft is “evaluating” renaming Rainbow Six Quarantine, Tales from the Borderlands is returning to digital storefronts, and more. Here’s the video game news you might’ve missed on Feb. 10, 2021.
Rainbow Six Quarantine Is Still Set to Launch in 2021 but Could Be Renamed
During Ubisoft’s recent earnings call, the company confirmed that Rainbow Six Quarantine will still be launching sometime in 2021. However, Ubisoft was asked about the game’s name, particularly in reference to the COVID-19 pandemic and if the company thinks it might be cause for concern.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said, “On Rainbow Six Quarantine, we are creating a product that is actually, as it’s named today, it is something we are evaluating and we will see what comes in the future on that product.”

Tales from the Borderlands Will Return to Storefronts Later This Month
After being delisted following the closure of Telltale Games in 2018, Tales from the Borderlands will return to digital storefronts on Feb. 17. Many of Telltale’s games were pulled from digital storefronts when the company went under, but most of them were available to buy later when the brand was revamped, except for Tales from the Borderlands. Thankfully, we’ll be able to purchase it again later this month.

The Next Batch of Nintendo Switch Online Games Goes Live Next Week
The latest batch of Nintendo Switch Online games will be available to play beginning Feb. 17. The list is as follows:
Super NES – Nintendo Switch Online:
- Doomsday Warrior
- Psycho Dream
- Prehistorik Man
NES – Nintendo Switch Online:
- Fire ‘n Ice
Based on the reception to this list online, the community seems to be quite disappointed — instead asking Nintendo to add beloved SNES games like EarthBound or Super Mario RPG. Meanwhile, Japan is receiving a different group of games for Nintendo Switch Online, including Shin Megami Tensei II.
Four more titles will be added to the #NES & #SNES – #NintendoSwitchOnline collection on 2/17!
