Activision Details What to Expect from Cold War Zombies’ Outbreak, Free Trial Announced

Today, Activision has detailed what to expect from the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies experience, called Outbreak. The new open-world Zombies mode will launch alongside Season Two and tasks players with defending objectives, escorting rovers to dimensional portals, and more. In addition, Black Ops Cold War‘s multiplayer and Zombies modes will be free from Feb. 25 – March 4.

Hunt: Showdown Reaches 3 Million Players on 3-Year Anniversary

Hunt: Showdown is celebrating its third birthday, and developer Crytek has announced that it has reached 3 million players. This news comes by way of the game’s official Twitter account, in which it also mentions that new “festivities” will be happening next month. In celebration of the huge milestone, a new video was released, highlighting the past three years. Check it out below!

Cuphead Skins Are Coming to Fall Guys

Mediatonic is collaborating with Studio MDHR to bring Cuphead skins to Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, as announced on the Fall Guys Twitter account, which details the new costumes’ in-game prices and release dates. You’ll be able to purchase the Cuphead costume on Wednesday and the Mugman costume on Saturday, so hopefully you’ve got enough crowns saved up.

It Takes Two Official Gameplay Trailer Revealed

Developer Hazelight Studios has revealed the official gameplay trailer for its upcoming game, It Takes Two. Narrated by studio head Josef Fares, the trailer focuses on the combination of gameplay and narrative. Based on what was shown, it seems there will be lots of gameplay variety, with no two scenarios feeling the same, at least according to Fares. It Takes Two will launch on March 26.

Microsoft Reportedly Has Plans for a Bethesda Digital Event in March

According to GamesBeat reporter Jeff Grubb (via VGC), Microsoft is planning to hold a major event this March — focusing on the future of Bethesda. Following Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda, the community has raised a lot of questions about what to expect from both companies going forward.

Grubb said on the latest episode of his podcast, “I think this is one of the milestones for Microsoft before E3, where once the deal closes they will talk about it in a big way.”

He added, β€œI don’t know if it will be a full, Direct-style event, but they will make note about it and they will talk about it extensively, explain what it means for everybody, and talk about the immediate future of both companies becoming one. So yeah, expect that to happen sometime in mid-March.”
