For starters, we received word that Sony will be discontinuing PlayStation 4’s Communities feature, id Software showed off a teaser trailer for Doom Eternal: The Ancient GodsPart Two DLC, Fall Guys Season 4 got a release date, and more. Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part Two DLC Teaser Trailer Shown Off Today

Earlier today, developer id Software released a new teaser trailer for Doom Eternal‘s forthcoming DLC titled The Ancient Gods – Part Two. The trailer itself is short but gives us a hint as to what to expect from the upcoming expansion. Better yet is that a full trailer for the DLC will launch this Wednesday, March 17. The DLC itself will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC as a standalone expansion (with the Switch version to follow at a later time) on March 18.

Balan Wonderworld Will Get a Day One Patch to Address Demo Feedback

Recently, 3D platformer Balan Wonderworld received a demo, which garnered some negative feedback in regards to the game’s difficulty, controls, and more. Because of this, the game will be getting a day one patch that aims to address many of the demo’s concerns.

Balan Wonderworld producer Noriyoshi Fujimoto said, “Specifically, this patch will adjust movement controls, camera movement, and rebalancing of the difficulty. There’s just over a week left until launch now, so I hope you all enjoy the world of Wonderworld to your heart’s content!” Balan Wonderworld will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on March 26, 2021.

Fall Guys Trailer Reveals Season 4 Release Date

Developer Mediatonic has been ramping up the marketing for Fall Guys Season 4 for a while now, and today, it finally revealed its release date. Fall Guys Season 4 will launch on March 22, as shown in the latest cinematic trailer. In it, players will be sent to the future, and it will include new stages and modes. This news comes weeks after the announcement that Epic Games has purchased Tonic Games Group, the parent company of Mediatonic.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Will Get a Large Patch This Week

In preparation of the game’s second season of content, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be getting a large patch tomorrow, March 16. The patch will go live across all platforms and will include numerous fixes, including the implementation of new skills, game improvements to the visuals, audio, AI, and quests, along with performance and stability enhancements. Sony Will Discontinue the PS4’s Communities Feature in April

One of PlayStation 4’s unique functions is the Communities feature, which allows like-minded users to come together within a specific game or topic, sort of like a forum. Over the weekend, Sony sent out emails announcing the discontinuation of the feature on April 1. “Thank you for using the PS Communities feature on your PS4 console,” the email from Sony reads. “Beginning in April 2021, this feature will no longer be supported or available on your PS4 console.”
