Capcom Announces the Next Monster Hunter Digital Event
As announced via the official Twitter account, the next Monster Hunter Digital Event has been announced. It will debut on April 27, 2021 at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT. Capcom says the event will focus on the next free update for Monster Hunter Rise, which will feature the Chameleos and Apex Rathalos monsters. We’ll also find out more on Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, a spin-off game set to launch on July 9, 2021. That game had its collector’s edition revealed today as well.

The Latest New Pokémon Snap Trailer Focuses on Its Sounds
The latest New Pokémon Snap trailer has been published, and it focuses on the game’s many sounds and atmosphere. It doesn’t show us much, but in it we can hear creatures chirping and making other noises, along with the sounds of a nearby body of water, and more. You can watch (and listen) for yourself below. New Pokémon Snap is the first installment in the series in over 20 years and will launch for Nintendo Switch on April 30, 2021. Its release will coincide with a new smartphone printer from Fujifilm that lets you print out photos of your Nintendo Switch gameplay for New Pokémon Snap and any other Switch game.
Sega Is Counting Down to Something Judgment-Related
A countdown timer for something related to Judgment is live on one of Sega’s websites. At the time of writing, it’s counting down to Judgment Day, which will occur on May 7, 2021. It’s currently unconfirmed what this reveal will be, but it’s likely we’ll be getting an announcement for the next Judgment game, which is rumored to be in development. Judgment is a spinoff of the Yakuza games and is beloved by the community.

It Takes Two Has Sold Over One Million Copies
Hazelight Studios announced that its latest co-op platformer It Takes Two has reached over one million copies sold. It has reached this milestone in just around a month of launch, which is a respectable number. It Takes Two is a game about a divorcing couple who learn to coexist with one another for the sake of their young daughter. The game takes many twists and turns and is absolutely worth playing.

Super Nintendo World Will Close Due to a State of Emergency
After only a month of being open to the public, Japan’s Super Nintendo World will close on April 25, due to a state of emergency in Osaka. Universal Studios Japan said, “Today, Universal Studios Japan has decided to temporarily close our park due to the substantial business shutdown request to operate with no spectators which was issued under the state of emergency for Osaka prefecture.” The company explained the park will reopen once the state of emergency has been lifted.
