Walmart’s Upcoming Streaming Service Revealed as Part of Epic v. Apple Trial
During today’s Epic Games v. Apple trial, a document was revealed showing off a supposed streaming service in the works from Walmart from 2019. It’s supposed to work on mobile devices with a controller and is reportedly comparable in experience to playing a PlayStation 4, according to Epic Games co-founder Mark Rein. The streaming service will apparently work in conjunction with other launchers like Origin, Epic Games Store (EGS), Steam, and others. It’s unclear where Walmart is in the process of the service’s development or if it will even ever launch at all.

Court Document Reveals Plans for Samus Aran, the Rock, and Lady Gaga Fortnite Character Skins
One of the other notable headlines from the Epic v. Apple trial was the reveal of planned and contemplated Fortnite character skins, which include Samus Aran, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, NBA player LeBron James, Lady Gaga, and more. These character skins were made public as part of the trial, which also detailed a potential new Fortnite basketball minigame that would apparently tie to the NBA. It’s unclear if these characters will actually be implemented or if these plans were merely in the works, not set in stone.
