Watch Dogs Complete Edition Rated for Next-Generation Platforms

Ubisoft Watch Dogs Complete Edition ESRB rating PlayStation 5 Xbox Series X Google Stadia

It looks like the first entry in Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs franchise is being re-released for next-generation consoles. The Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) has rated Watch Dogs Complete Edition for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and Stadia, in addition to previously rated PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Per the Ubisoft website, we know what Watch Dogs Complete Edition entails. It includes the base game plus its season pass contents, in addition to a new game mode, weapons, outfits, and a new campaign where you play as “the legendary hacker,” T-Bone.

There is no indication of any release date, and Ubisoft’s holiday schedule seems relatively packed with the recently launched third entry, Watch Dogs: Legion, as well as the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Immortals Fenyx Rising. Watch Dogs Complete Edition could very well be a 2021 release.

Incidentally, Watch Dogs protagonist Aiden Pearce also makes an appearance in Watch Dogs: Legion. A remastered version of the original game will surely benefit from the stronger hardware of the next-generation consoles, presumably in areas such as improved frame rates, load times, and graphical fidelity.

Watch Dogs was originally released on May 27, 2014 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One and on Nov. 18, 2014 for Wii U.
