Nintendo is working on a Wii version of Mario Kart, if the splashy presentation in the Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, is any indication.
The title will feature a total of 32 courses, half of those remakes of old levels, according to the publication. Mario Circuit, Momo Country, Kinopio Factory, DK Snowboard Cross, Coconuts Mall, Kinoko Canyon, and Luigi Circuit are among the new additions.
Gameplay will be spiced up a bit with airborne tricks and maneuvers and a host of multiplayer options. Matches can be played against friends, regional players, or anyone in the world, and can also be configured for wireless play with up to 12 players.
Additional customizability will come in the way of downloadable ghost data, personalized avatars and perhaps a Mario Kart Channel.
