There is something new for fans of the Monster Hunter series. Although, this upcoming title has nothing to do with Capcom’s franchise. Publisher EA and developer Omega Force, which is a part of Koei Tecmo, have officially unveiled the game they teased earlier this month: Wild Hearts. Wild Hearts is a monster-hunting action game that will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Origin with a February 17, 2023 release date and $69.99 price.

Wow, what a vibrant world! The colors really pop. The gameplay looks fun and engaging, everything is running smoothly, and the way those wooden inventions assemble looks really cool. It is a great first impression.
As reported by Gematsu, Wild Hearts promises seamless co-op for upward of three players from the developers behind the Dynasty Warriors series. The adventure will take place in a fantasy world named Azuma, which is inspired by feudal Japan. Cross-play features across all platforms. There will also be plenty of language options, with voiceovers in English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. You will apparently battle nature-infused beasts with the aforementioned wooden technology. Shades of Horizon Zero Dawn abound.
While Wild Hearts lets you take on the story all by yourself, who wouldn’t want to take advantage of teaming up with a couple buddies? That’s what these types of games are all about, after all. The game is being published as an EA Original, like Lost in Random and It Takes Two before it.
