The Draenei were long ago blessed by the Naaru, the beings of Light. Many of their racial abilities reflect this affinity and protection. Though it does beg the question – how can a Draenei Priest spec shadow??
Blessing of the Naaru
Activate to heal your target for 10 + 3 * level every 3 seconds for 15 seconds. 1.5 second cast time and 3 minute cooldown.
(At level 1 it heals 65 health, and heals 1100 at level 70)
Note: Light-powered healing. Not the most powerful of heals, and has a lengthy cooldown, but it does pack a powerful punch in a pinch. Besides, think: A warrior who can heal. Yeah.
Heroic Presence
“Chance to hit” for all party members within 30 yards increases by 1%.
Note: An attack buff just for being in someone’s presence? Hmmm, they must bring the Light so you can better see your opponent.
Gemcutting
15 point skill bonus to Jewelcrafting (note, this also raises the cap by 15 at each level of jewelcrafting).
Note: To better reflect the Light? I guess someone had to make those fancy magical crystals that powered their ships. Handy little bonus to the new profession.
Shadow Resistance
Increase Shadow Resistance by 10.
Note: Light > Shadow. Not bad resistance.
