Sega and RGG Studio have announced the final release date for Yakuza: Like a Dragon on current-gen platforms. The game will release on Nov. 13 in the West for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It will release sometime in the month of November on Xbox Series X, and a PlayStation 5 is simply “coming soon.”
To celebrate the announcement, a new trailer was released showcasing some of the game’s turn-based battles and RPG mechanics, as well as the English dub. Kaiji Tang will voice the main protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, and George Takei plays Masumi Arakawa.
While Yakuza: Like a Dragon already had a confirmed release window of November, it is also meant to be a launch title for the Xbox Series X. This could imply that Microsoft’s new console won’t release earlier than Nov. 13.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon will support Smart Delivery. Those who buy the Xbox One version of the game will also receive the Series X version free of charge. Cross-save has also been confirmed, so players will be able to continue where they left off before upgrading from Xbox One to Series X.
Preorders of the game include the Legends Costume Pack DLC, which contains cosmetic costumes of major characters from previous entries in the Yakuza series such as Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, and Ryuji Goda.
