If you want to try the Star Wars: Battlefront Bespin DLC before you buy it, it’s free to play this weekend.
The Bespin DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront released back in June, and added Lando Calrissian and Degar, as well as new maps set in Cloud City. It was the second paid DLC for DICE’s Star Wars shooter.
If you haven’t picked it up yet and you’d like to try it out, you can do so for free this weekend. There are no restrictions announced on the free trial so far, but that could change. When the free weekend for the Outer Rim DLC took place, you could play all the maps and game modes, but you had to own the content to try out the new weapons.
If you trust the game’s live events calendar, there will be another free trial for Bespin September 12 – 18.
The free weekend begins today, and runs through Sunday, August 21. If you end up liking the content, you’ll be able to buy it for $15, or you can choose the season pass for $50.
